I was mid trying to take pictures when my kitten decided to join in. I am not a winter person, I dislike being cold and it’s too warm here to do nice layered styles. It suddenly became winter this week and I had to pull out all my old winter gear. I bought this blazer last winter and loved it but was a little too shy to wear it around my overly casual town. However, this year I am totally digging it’s fitted sleeves, button detail and slightly short length. This pair of jeans I have had since I was sixteen years old, they’ve lost a bit of colour and aren’t so skinny anymore and I do so desperately need a new quality pair but these are my old faithful’s, they’ve been there for me for the last five winters and you can always use a good pair of denim jeans.
I went to the Brisbane Gallery of Modern Art (G.O.M.A) to see the Cai Guo-Qiang: Falling Back to Earth exhibit that everyone has been raving about. Honestly, I was disappointed. I appreciate all the time and effort gone into it and the message it is trying to send but it seemed more of a tourist attraction. Maybe it was just the excessive amount of people that ruined it for me. It was beautiful though.
My blog is undergoing a huge make over soon and with that I am doing an International Giveaway for a black Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Polaroid camera. So follow and watch this space!
I need to go shopping for winter clothes so, so badly but my boyfriend and I are hoping to go on our first overseas trip together at the end of this year and I am really trying (and failing) to save. So once again I will be having a clothes sale on EBay with a few of my nicer but rarely worn items. I will definitely post when I put everything up!
